Who made this, What is This, and Why Does it exist?

My name is Violet Vulgaris. I am a Twin Cities based stage manager, producer, and performer that has been around for about 3 years.

I am hoping to develop a centralized resource for the local scene. I have ideas for how to expand this page but am currently keeping it to local shows and casting calls so that it does not becoming too overwhelming to use at once. Future tabs include a producer directory, education directory, and crafting directory for performers.

During my limited time on the scene I have noticed that it is difficult to track shows and applications. While social media is a wonderful option, with algorithms and the general movement away from social media has made it hard to know what shows are going on and where they are. I believe having a website that is accessible to everyone and updated regularly will remove some of these barriers.
